Naila Karamally is Manager of Climate Stewardship and Sustainable Investing at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). In her role, she leads the Corporate Decarbonization team’s investor-focused work on systems-level investing, transition planning and related themes, including climate governance and just transition. Her work supports investor stewardship through resource development, targeted engagement support, and analysis to inform investment decision-making.
Prior to joining C2ES, Naila was a Senior Associate of Shareholder Advocacy on Ceres’ Shareholder Initiative on Climate and Sustainability team. She also serves as co-chair of Clean Production Action’s Environmental Justice and DEI working group, which convenes investors, scientists, and sustainability professionals to promote more just and equitable corporate chemicals practices.
Naila received an MBA from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, with a concentration in corporate finance, social impact, and environmental sustainability.
