Naila Karamally is a Climate Stewardship and Sustainable Investing Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). In her role, she supports C2ES’s Corporate Net-Zero Transition team’s investor-focused work on transition planning and related themes, including climate governance and just transition. This work includes analyzing companies, identifying leading corporate practices, and developing resources that strengthen investor engagement and support investment decision-making aligned with corporate transition, risk mitigation, fiduciary duty, and long-term value creation.
Prior to joining C2ES, Naila was a Senior Associate of Shareholder Advocacy at Ceres’ Investor Initiative on Climate and Sustainability. She also serves as co-chair of Clean Production Action’s Environmental Justice and DEI working group, which convenes investors, scientists, and sustainability professionals to promote more just and equitable corporate chemicals practices.
Naila received an MBA from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, where she created an individual concentration focusing on finance, social impact, and environmental sustainability.
