Brock Burton

Climate and Trade Associate Fellow, Center for Climate and Energy Solutions

Brock Burton is the Climate and Trade Associate Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), where he assesses trade policies and helps develop approaches that support industrial decarbonization, spur greater climate ambition, and enhance the competitiveness of U.S. businesses. His work focuses on climate-aligned trade policies like border carbon adjustments and product-level emissions accounting.

Prior to joining C2ES, Brock worked at the World Trade Organization, where he coordinated engagement on emerging issues of international trade and sustainable development policy.

Brock holds Master’s in International Affairs specialized in Trade and International Finance from the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID) and an undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews.
