Carbon Nation is an optimistic, solutions-based film that shows how tackling climate change boosts the economy, increases national and energy security, and promotes health and a clean environment. It is a pragmatic primer about why a low-carbon economy makes good business sense. With stories and characters from all parts of the country, this film makes the case for sensible climate policies that bring about other benefits for our economy, society, and country.

Carbon Nation debuted at the DC Environmental Film Festival in March 2010 and since then has been screened hundreds of times around the U.S.

Peter Byck has more than 20 years experience as a director and editor. His first documentary "Garbage" won the South by Southwest Film Festival.
