Southeast Regional Summit: Securing the Critical Battery Materials Supply Chain

Rising energy demand, supply chain disruptions, and national security concerns have rapidly accelerated the need for a domestic battery supply chain in the United States. In the emerging “battery belt” of the Southeast United States, supportive policies and private-sector investments have spurred a fast-growing battery industry, with new facilities under development spanning the full value chain from mineral extraction and refining to cell fabrication and battery assembly.

C2ES’s Regional Clean Economies Initiative has convened more than 250 stakeholders across South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, and Georgia to explore the opportunity and necessity of continued momentum for the critical battery materials industry in the region. These conversations contributed to the development of a policy roadmap to put the region on the path to success. Now, our Southeast Regional Summit will bring together leaders of business, government, academia, nonprofit, and communities to transform their ideas into action.

Hosted at the Battery Show South, the largest trade show for batteries, EV technology, and energy storage in the region, C2ES invites you to join for a full-day event including interactive workshops, inspiring presentations, and action-oriented conversations focused on real-world impact. C2ES Regional Summit participants will also be invited to explore the exhibit hall at the Battery Show South, featuring more than 260 top OEMs and suppliers.
