Logan Rains is the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions’ (C2ES) senior advocacy manager for regional clean economies. He has over ten years of experience in electoral politics, issue advocacy, and clean-energy policy throughout the Southeast and the United States. At C2ES, Mr. Rains focuses on connecting politics, government, and clean-energy advocacy to advance policies that strengthen U.S. energy security, grow domestic clean energy production, modernize the electricity grid, and encourage local investment. Before joining C2ES, Mr. Rains worked across government, nonprofit, and private sector advocacy, including roles with Bantam Communications, the Electrification Coalition, ElectriCities of North Carolina, Color Of Change, and the State of North Carolina, supporting policy engagement, coalition building, strategic communications, and clean energy and transportation electrification initiatives.
Mr. Rains is a graduate of Elon University and IE University, a proud North Carolina native who lives in Raleigh with his wife and son.
