Laura Rehrmann formerly directed communications strategies for the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), including media relations, events, publications, and digital outreach.
Previously, she was an editor at Gannett/USA TODAY, including serving as Managing Editor of the Gannett Washington Bureau, where she oversaw coverage of Congress and the federal government for more than 1 Gannett newspapers and TV stations. She spent 12 years at The Associated Press, including as the News Editor directing coverage of Maryland and Delaware. She led reporting projects on such environmental topics as Louisiana’s disappearing wetlands, wildfire prevention, water quality, and the health the Chesapeake Bay. She previously was a reporter at The Press of Atlantic City.
Ms. Rehrmann has a journalism degree from Penn State and is pursuing a master’s in public relations from Georgetown University.
