Isabel Rewick is the Associate Fellow in International Strategies at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). Her work focuses on national climate commitments, accountability, and loss and damage, including within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Ms. Rewick also works on the global stocktake and efforts to improve the efficacy of the Paris Agreement’s ambition cycle.

Before joining C2ES, Ms. Rewick supported the Republic of Vanuatu’s delegation to the UNFCCC as an adviser on loss and damage, tracking the status of negotiations and coordinating side events. Additionally, she interned with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in intergovernmental affairs and worked in Dhaka, Bangladesh, as a visiting researcher on loss and damage and adaptation at the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD). Prior to this role, Ms. Rewick was the International Intern at C2ES, working to analyze uptake of mitigation signals, including energy efficiency, from the first global stocktake across Nationally Determined Contributions.

Ms. Rewick holds a Master of Environmental Management with a focus on international climate diplomacy from the Yale School of the Environment and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University.
