Francesco Aimone is the Industrial Electrification Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). For the last 10 years, Mr. Aimone has been the Co-Founder and CEO of Induction Food Systems, an electric process heat start-up. During that time, he led many functions including R&D, product development, fundraising, business development and strategy, and creating partnerships with companies, academics, and others.

Prior to IFS he worked in health care and public health, including developing and implementing a program to address substance abuse in Chicago.

Mr. Aimone has a bachelor’s degree in history and health studies from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in public health in sociomedical sciences from Columbia University, where his thesis focused on the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic in NYC.
