Francesco Aimone

Industrial Electrification Senior Fellow, C2ES

Francesco Aimone is the Industrial Electrification Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). For the last 10 years, Mr. Aimone has been the Co-Founder and CEO of Induction Food Systems, an electric process heat start-up. During that time, he led many functions including R&D, product development, fundraising, business development and strategy, and creating partnerships with companies, academics, and others.

Mr. Aimone has a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Health Studies from Michigan State University and a Master’s in Public Health in Sociomedical Sciences from Columbia where his thesis focused on the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic in NYC. Prior to IFS he worked in health care and public health, including developing and implementing a program to address substance abuse in Chicago.
