With its commitments to achieve net zero emissions in production and operations no later than 2050, and to halve the carbon intensity of the products it sells, BP is demonstrating the vision and leadership needed from the oil and gas industry. What’s more, its commitment to more vigorously advocate for climate policies including carbon pricing will help accelerate the broader effort toward carbon neutrality.
