Seizing the Opportunity: Climate Investments in West Virginia’s Future Economy

In June 2021, C2ES hosted a virtual, two-day roundtable discussion with key stakeholders across West Virginia to explore opportunities for community-focused economic development in a global economy increasingly driven by low-carbon investments. Building on this event, C2ES worked closely with local stakeholders to identify policy recommendations that can benefit West Virginians by helping the state capitalize on its strengths in a low-carbon transition.

This webinar will include a brief presentation of these recommendations and feature a discussion with West Virginians about how climate-related investments could affect the state’s economic future.
