Enabling Private Finance for Adaptation: Practical Actions to drive progress on the Sharm El-Sheik Adaptation Agenda

Enabling Private Finance for Adaptation — Implementation Lab

In collaboration with Resilience First, Resilience Rising, the Race to Resilience Campaign, and the Marrakech Partnership, C2ES will explore practical actions to drive progress on the Sharm El-Sheikh Adaptation Agenda. This roundtable discussion is part of the official COP28 Global Climate Action Program and will be livestreamed for virtual audiences.

As global efforts intensify to realize the Sharm El-Sheik goals, the spotlight is on harnessing the might of private finance. This includes tapping into groundbreaking mechanisms that champion nature-based solutions. This implementation lab is designed to explore tangible actions, showcase real-world resilience initiatives from diverse perspectives, and share case studies from around the world. Participants will have the opportunity to dissect strategies that leading organizations are championing, all aligned with the overarching Sharm El-Sheik Adaptation Agenda’s outcome targets.
