Georgia leads the nation in new battery supply chain manufacturing investments, including facilities to manufacture and recycle grid-scale batteries, electric vehicles, and battery components. On November 5th, C2ES, in partnership with Georgia Tech's Strategic Energy Institute and Advanced Battery Center, will host a full-day event to highlight regional leadership, identify focus areas for in-depth research and policy development, and continue a series of convenings across the region to collaboratively develop a regional roadmap for the battery and critical mineral and material industry. This event will bring together key stakeholders including: businesses of all sizes, state and local policymakers, academic experts and leading researchers, economic development organizations, nonprofits, and public- and private-sector partners.
