Charlotte, North Carolina Roundtable on the Battery and Critical Material Supply Chain

North Carolina is set to play a crucial role in the Southeast battery belt, with momentum building across the state through investments in crucial segments of the supply chain, from anode and separator production to final assembly of batteries. On October 2nd, C2ES, in partnership with the NC Battery Industry Partnership, will host a full-day event to highlight regional leadership, identify focus areas for in-depth research and policy development, and continue a series of convenings across the region to collaboratively develop a regional roadmap for the battery and critical mineral and material industry. This event will bring together key stakeholders including: businesses of all sizes, state and local policymakers, academic experts and leading researchers, economic development organizations, nonprofits, and public- and private-sector partners.

Our October 2025 roundtable in North Carolina will explore opportunities relating to battery and critical mineral supply chain to produce policy recommendations promoting industrial and workforce development. Topics for discussion include:
