The Pew Center on Global Climate Change is organizing the post-conference workshop, “Innovative Approaches to Financing Energy Efficiency in Commercial Buildings” at Point Carbon’s Carbon Market Insights Americas 2010 Conference being held November 1-3.
Significant energy saving and carbon reduction opportunities exist in commercial buildings, but many go untapped due to financial barriers, such as lack of capital and relatively long payback periods. The workshop will examine barriers and innovative solutions to financing energy efficiency in commercial buildings both in the private and public sectors.
Speakers will include Bruce Schlein, Citi; Ben Speed, Johnson Controls; Greg Hale, NRDC; and Adam Hinge, Sustainable Energy Partnerships. Find full workshop agenda here.
