Sarah Dougherty is the Finance Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, working to help harness the power of both proven and new, innovative finance mechanisms to provide solutions for the twin challenges of energy and climate change. Her areas of focus include transportation, energy efficiency, renewable energy, critical infrastructure and climate resilience.
Ms. Dougherty brings experience in finance, alternative energy and economics. She previously spent seven years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta as an energy analyst and researcher. Most recently, she was with the Federal Home Loan Bank as a financial risk management project analyst, working on private-label structured products. Ms. Dougherty holds a MA in Economics with a focus in Public Policy from Georgia State University and a BA in Economics from Colgate University.
