Matt Frades is a Transportation Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions. Mr. Frades works on strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and oil consumption in the transportation sector, with a focus on public and private sector action to advance alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles.
Prior to joining C2ES, Mr. Frades worked as a Senior Associate at the advisory firm Garten Rothkopf where he consulted on the economics and politics of energy and transportation issues. He also worked as a Research Scientist at Carbon Solutions New England where he served as a technical advisor to the Governor’s New Hampshire Climate Change Task Force.
Mr. Frades holds a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs as well an M.S. in Hydrology and a B.S. in Geology from the University of New Hampshire.
