Daniel Usas, Global Energy Manager, Worldwide Environment, Health and Safety Department, Johnson & Johnson
Daniel Usas joined Johnson & Johnson (J&J) in the year 2000. Mr. Usas’ current role is the Global Energy Manager within J&J’s Worldwide Environment, Health & Safety Department. Mr. Usas is responsible for managing J&J’s Energy Supply Contracts, delivering an Energy Best Practices Program, promoting the use of renewable energy sources, and ensuring J&J meets its corporate greenhouse gas reduction goals.
Mr. Usas began his career as part of the inaugural class of J&J’s Engineering Leadership Development Program. He proceeded through various positions within the organization including Control Systems Engineer for J&J Consumer Products and a Process Engineer for Centocor Biologics.
Mr. Usas is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers, a Six Sigma certified Green Belt, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a Certified Energy Manager.
Mr. Usas earned a BSE., Electrical Engineering from Princeton University and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
