Climate Change Targets
Bayer set three climate change goals for 2005 - 2020: Bayer Material Science will decrease its specific greenhouse gas emissions per ton of sold product by 25 percent, Bayer HealthCare will decrease its absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 5 percent, and Bayer CropScience will decrease its absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 15 percent. Furthermore, Bayer seeks to cut CO2 emissions from vehicles by 20 percent between 2007 and 2012.
