Matt Frades, Transportation Fellow
Matt Frades is a Transportation Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions where he reports to the Vice President for Technology and Innovation. Mr. Frades works on strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and oil consumption in the transportation sector, with a focus on public and private sector action to advance alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles.
Prior to joining C2ES, Mr. Frades worked as a Senior Associate at the advisory firm Garten Rothkopf where he consulted on the economics and politics of energy and transportation issues. He also worked as a Research Scientist at Carbon Solutions New England where he served as a technical advisor to the Governor’s New Hampshire Climate Change Task Force.
Mr. Frades holds a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs as well an M.S. in Hydrology and a B.S. in Geology from the University of New Hampshire.
