Laura Rehrmann handles media relations and communications strategies for C2ES. She was an editor at Gannett/USA TODAY from 2000 to 2012, including serving as managing editor of the Gannett Washington Bureau, where she oversaw coverage of Congress and the federal government for localized audiences. During her 11 years at the Associated Press, she directed coverage of Maryland and Delaware as news editor.

As an editor at Gannett and AP, she directed projects on such environmental topics as Louisiana’s disappearing wetlands, wildfire prevention, water quality, and the health the Chesapeake Bay. She previously was a reporter at The Press of Atlantic City and has a journalism degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
